

Originally from Austin, Texas, Mickey has lived and taught English in Bogota, Sevilla, Barcelona, San Francisco, and Austin. She has a Master’s Degree in TEFL and over two decades of experience teaching and working on English language teaching materials. Mickey has co-written Style, Skyline and Attitude and when she isn’t writing, she can be found riding horses or taking care of her donkey on her ranch in Mexico.
Steve has been involved in teaching English for many years as a teacher, examiner, trainer and writer. He has written a number of courses for intermediate to advanced levels, including the Laser series, and speaks regularly at conferences on various aspects of teaching and learning English. After a number of years living and working in Greece, where he served on the Executive Board of TESOL Greece, he now lives in the north of England. Away from writing, he tries to find time to go fishing.
After completing her Master’s Degree in English, Jo moved out to Greece, where she worked as an English language teacher. She taught a range of students there, from young learners up to adults, specializing in exam preparation classes, and eventually moved into writing classroom materials. She has worked on several successful courses and is currently living in England with her husband and co-author, Steve. They’re currently looking forward to the arrival of their first baby.
